Teams from across the country will soon be starting their expeditions to their states highpoint in honor of the law enforcement officers that have been killed in the line of duty in their state as well as nation wide. Regardless of how far the trail is to the summit, each mission is the same. I admire each of you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to honor so many that have given all protecting the communities they served.

Please be careful on your expeditions and thank you to everyone that helped me out this year in contacting various departments. Although not every state participated this year, this is our largest participation year ever (with many teams still left to report their rosters)! Cops on Top is definitely growing and the word is getting out which will hopefully propel us to new heights in 2010!
