2009 September 11th Memorial Climb

 

This year, a small number of officer, friends and family, and volunteers climbed their states highest mountain in honor of the law enforcement officers and all public safety personnel that were killed during the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks for the annual Cops on Top 2009 Sept 11 memorial climbs. I am a Lieutenant with the Frankfort Police Department in Indiana and will serve as the 2012 Aconcagua expedition team leader. I have lead two successful major Cops on Top memorial expedition, which include Aconcagua in 2009 and Denali 2010 and have also reached the summits of Rainier, Whitney, Granite Peak, several Colorado 14ers, and over half of the Southern Sixers (as recognized by the Carolina Mountain Club). I have been an active member of Cops on Top since 2005 and currently sits on the Cops on Top Board of Directors.
