Aconcagua Memorial Expedition 2009:
On January 25, 2009, the Cops on Top expedition team reached the summit of Cerro Aconcagua despite deplorable weather conditions in honor of Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski of the Philadelphia Police Department who was killed in the line of duty on May 3, 2008. On September 11, 2008, Cops on Top teams across the United States reached the summit of their states highpoint in honor of those law enforcement officers who were killed during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
